Art and Decor Ideas: General, Bedroom, and Bath

Art may be used to evoke emotion, to decorate, to commemorate.
The art wall may be used to design a personal form of art for the art enthusiast - a means to express one's self through art arrangement. Such as is done, for example, in displaying family pictures on a wall or horizontal surface.

Taking coordinating colors into consideration is the designer's choice. This factor and the style of the piece, the era that is being recreated, the size may all help one decide just which art forms and paintings one wants for decorating purposes.

Art may be specific and so commissioned. There is incredible variety available for portraits, to coordinate colors to bring a room together, or to capture the beauty of a dog or cat.
The dog or cat painting will offer a nice black and white addition to decor or a warmer look if the animal is brown or buff or even calico. You have your cool grays too (and grays may be made warmer).

Art is often the finishing touch for a room's decor and sought post painting the room. Some who are dedicated to providing the ultimate place for a prized piece will work the room's decor around the art. This I highly recommend if one is looking to make a new start for a room or remaking an abode. It may be a convenient way to choose a color scheme or style.

Bedroom decor may be very personalized and may reflect the person's age group or sex. There are also countless options that may enjoyed regardless of sex and sometimes eclectic mixes of one's favorite things may not give many hints as to the sex of bedroom occupant. One example is a love of horses. Horses are a beloved animal admired by both sexes though some may argue that women have more affinity for horses than men do.

The bathroom may be enhanced by a small work or set that really adds charm or an interesting look. Larger washrooms have options such combining three coordinated paintings or more. The bachelor may opt for a sports car theme or piece that harmonizes with the theme while many ladies may want floral or some take off on a floral - maybe an impressionistic piece without flowers or a creative piece that has the colors of floral but is more geometrical. Geometric art somewhat like cubism will go nicely with modern sleek fixtures and may delight either or both sexes when it comes to choosing art for the powder room.

Feel free to let me know what colors or themes you like for your bedroom and bath and in general. I may create an artwork based on what you like.
